Procedure for installing MENU/ICONS.for K790/k800i for CID49/51/52

Before we start we need to download XS++ software which is required for flashing

NEW USB Drivers: http://rapidshare.com/files/101417954/USBFlashnew.rar

Make a New Directory named SE on C drive of your HDD.
Unzip USB drivers to this directory and also Unzip XS++ to SE directory.
So now SE folder will have two folders, one having USB drivers and other having XS++ Software. C:\SE\USBFlashnew and C:\SE\XS++

Remove SIM Card and don’t turn on your Phone

1. First we need to install USB DRIVERS:Make sure your battery is charged to 100% and you have taken backup of your phone (contacts, sms, etc).
2. Re-Insert battery in phone. Don’t turn on your Phone.
3. Insert USB cable, one which you got with Box pack. i.e. DCU-60 cable in to USB port of PC
4. Open XS++ and click START button
5. Now with in 30 Seconds you have to do following things
6. First Keep C button pressed on your Phone and insert other end of USB cable to phone.
7. Now don’t release C button unless you see “Install New Hardware Window”. Once seen, you can release C button. You may get an error window from XS++, just ignore it.
8. On New Hardware window choose Manual driver installation window and install NEW USB drivers located in C:\SE\USBFlashnew. Ignore any windows warning if you get.
9. Once done close XS++ remove USB cable form phone.
10. Thus we have finished installing new drivers for USB and this is one time process.
11. remove USB cable from phone
12. unzip all files and copy it to the given path C:\XS++\files_to_upload\tpa\preset\system\menu (ALL FILES OF ICON{it may be 12 or 24} AND ONE menu.ml WILL GO HERE).....
13. (NOW COPY YOUR layout.xml HERE) C:\XS++\files_to_upload\tpa\system\layout
14. (COPY YOUR THEME FILE xyz.THM HERE) C:\XS++\files_to_upload\tpa\user\theme
15. Please create the folders with same name and in small case as above if any of folders is missing.
16. Repeat step 2, 4, 5, 6.Dont release C button unless you see Info of your Phone on left side of XS++.
17. Check Customize File System on XS++ ....right side
18. Click Settings(at bottom) on XS++... right side
19. Click to BreakXS, and then Click on FSX at bottom
20. This will take you to next window, their click Start FSX.
21. New drivers will be installed to your phone.
    

Once the process is complete you will see a MSG on left side of XS++. And now it’s safe to unplug your phone and close XS++. Enjoy your new menu and icons



It is not necessary that ur menu/icon pack contains layout.xml and xyz.THM files


Above process is safe and even if your phone gets unplugged / restarts or power goes off then close XS++ and repeat from step 12.
